Last month, King MS adopted new Behavioral Expectations (with input through our Magnets and SDM). There will be activities such as Poster Contests, Door Decorating Contests, and input from student groups such as Leadership, Peer Mediators, and GSA, etc to flesh out what this looks like in the day to day.

Parents, teachers, and students came together on the last Friday of the holiday break to apply some elbow grease to our upcoming Design Lab. These volunteers painted, sawed, hung, and assembled throughout the morning, making strides in creating our dream lab. Check out the hard work of these volunteers. Other work days are needed–stay tuned for your opportunity to help our magnet build this amazing makers’ space.
THANK YOU for a great wine tasting get-together!
It is a really nice evening of camaraderie and cheers among King friends, as well as a great pretext to taste three selections of wine, along with bread, cheese, and olives.
Thanks to Silver Lake Wine for hosting and giving back part of the ticket sales to our school!
A huge THANK YOU to Mixed Co for a fabulous evening!
Almost 50 families (yes that’s over 150 proud King Lions!) mixed and mingled over artisanal pizzas and happy hour beverages at Mixed Co on Friday Nov 3, raising over $2,000 for our school (Mixed Co gave 100% of the ticket sales to King!). Special thanks to King parents Linsday Kennedy (owner of Mixed Co) for hosting and Sara Stein for the SoLA raffle bundle.
