On Friday, G. A. T. Alumni returned to King to discuss their high school programs with the current 8th-graders. This annual high school panel is an opportunity not only for our 8th-graders to hear young people’s honest perspective on the many options out there waiting for them in high school but to reconnect with Kingsters of our past as they share their stories of success and advice for our current class.
The Curators hosted their first opening reception for the Seasons art show. The gallery was packed with artists, friends and family members celebrating the creativity of our students. A big thanks to all who entered art and supported the event. Here’s a link to the exhibition essay, written by G. A. T. 8th-grader Shantelle Ortiz.
On Thursday, October 6, King Middle School students from across campus were treated to a very special Advanced Screening of ‘Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life’ in our school auditorium thanks to the amazing support of Lionsgate and CBS Films.
