The 7th Annual Districtwide GATE/SAS Parent Conference will be held on Saturday, March 12 , 2016 from 8:30 a.m – 12:30 p.m. at RFK Community Schools (registration begins at 7:30 am). This free parent event is open to all parents of LAUSD GATE/SAS students. Translation will be provided in Spanish.
Judy Galbraith, author and gifted education expert, is the keynote speaker. Parents will receive a copy of Galbraith’s book, THE SURVIVAL GUIDE FOR GIFTED KIDS (one per family while supplies last). There will also be a variety of workshops for parents addressing the academic and social-emotional needs of gifted learners.
